Blood Mountain
One of the highest places on the homeland, a large mountain range with the peak being at about 30,000. The tops of the mountains are not covered in snow due to the atmosphere up there only containing about 20% of the normal oxygen supply but the temperature was quite cold. The top of this particular mountain where the spar was occurring was flat because of an earthquake which had sheered the top off for various reasons and so it was depressed in slightly. If someone did go over the edges though they would plummet about 25,000 feet before they came in contact with the side of the mountain and would most likely be impaled by pieces of rock which stick straight up. Most creatures, even supernatural ones wouldn't be able to survive something like that. The weather condition was usually quite interesting up there. Swirling around at the top were ominous looking clouds. The sky was usually practically black and the clouds were in a circular looking kind of nature and were highly charged. The sky, every few moments, would crackle and a flash would slice the sky in two before a thunder cracked snapped through the sky, easily bursting the ear drums of mortals. Each bolt carries about 60,000 amperes of electricity (average bolt on earth carrying 30,000). From the black clouds pours a dangerous rain; acid rain and it was red in nature and was almost like blood. This rain affects all the plant life on the mountain, which mostly is a few trees and shrubs that can survive the harsh temperatures and storms. To humans, or living beings, it will cause a slight burn to the flesh but will also eat away at anything metallic including weapons and even jewelry that may be on a person. The wind usually swirled. The weather was pretty much constant up here, cycling between this deadly storm and a break in the clouds every now and then.
