InfiniteInferno: >Taeryn wasn't well known as she liked to keep to herself most of the time. Many who did know her went by her real name, though those who happened to cross her and had to face her wrath knew her by another name: The Decapitator. She was known for her signature weapon, The Flying Guillotine. The Flying Guillotine was one of the most complex, and confusing of weapons. It was able to be pocketed, though usually it was kept hanging by the owners side for easier use. What it was was a handle, and then 3-6 sections of metal [6 was for a larger Guillotine for a larger being and this was pocketed] Within the weapon was a metallic strip which was about 16 inches in length [20 for the larger weapon]. Within this strip were pieces of metal which, once it was airborne, would pop out and curve with the turn of the weapon to help move it through the air, as well as stabilize it, turning in a rotation. The metallic strip was held down to stop it from flying off whenever, so once a small button was pressed on the handle of the weapon and the pieces had been pulled together in the actual holder (by just pushing it gently), the metallic strip that held the long strip down, would pull back and the main strip would be literally sucked up into the chamber where it would started to be pulled around. The actual holder was one massive magnetic strip and it would instantly cause the metal strip to spin in a circle (as it was made in pieces), slowly gaining speed and heat due to friction. Once it was at the correct speed, the holder of the main weapon would press another small button and a small piece of metal would slide out and at that point in time the user would fling the weapon towards the opponent and it would leave the holder as the metal strip which came out redirected it and pulled it away from the magnetic strip. The weapon would fling through the air, with a small opening and if it had been directed correctly, the opening would fit perfectly around the opponents neck, and as soon as it had made contact, it would close and the metallic prongs which had come out during the flight would twist inwards, sinking into the opponent throat. And due to the previous high speed momentum, it would still be turning, thus ripping through throats and decapitating the opponent. If it missed, it would just be a boomerang and literally come back to the user. In addition to this weapon she had two obsidian throwing knives. While they were not as strong as other weapons, they splintered easily, so once in a body, they could splinter thus leaving deadly pieces inside the body. They were extraordinarily sharp and coated in a poison from a extremely deadly tree frog. To humans, they'd be dead in about a minute flat, their heat constricting and they'd go into cardiac arrest, though for supernaturals the same could happen or it could just make them sluggish, or maybe nothing at all, depending on their resistance. Her final weapon was a chain whip. A chin whip was exactly what it’s name said. It was a bunch of metallic sections put together to give it the same mobility of a regular whip with jagged parts sticking out towards the top to add an extra bite. And at the very tip was a blade. It had spikes coming out of it in all directions. A few direct strikes by this could cave some serious damage. Most of the whip, which didn’t come in contact with the user, could be used to slice flesh, especially if it was wrapped around an opponent and pulled. She usually didn't resort to this weapon as it was quite messy to use and was a final attempt to keep distance. Her main ability was personal chi manipulation. She had, entering any spar [unless otherwise stated] 100% personal energy, plus able to store 20% excess for use. She also had a vessel by the name of Eev. Eev was a little girl, looking about 5 years old and always dressed in white, who had 100% personal energy as well as 100% excess which was open for Taeryn to use [removing explanation to save time though if you'd like to understand how she became what she was I'd be happy to explain]. With Chi she was able to make Chi blasts, manipulate air around her by coating molecules in her own energy, make her attacks more powerful (adding an extra punch) as well as reinforcing her body. Her flesh and bones were already thicker and denser, it taking more pressure to snap bones and more pressure to slice through flesh (a human wielding a knife wouldn't do much). With Chi manipulation, her speed was enhanced to be two times faster than the average human, able to life 3 times more than the average human, as well as higher resistance to toxins (though she wasn't immune [sometimes just able to stave it off, not immune]). // The Decapitator had been wandering around a desolate world with Eev for a few hours, bored out of their minds, when before them the air seemed to ripple, having her the signal that there was about to be a massive energy burst, and she was right, air exploding outwards towards her, pushing her hair back and causing her to hold Eev's hand firmly. Once the air had cleared and the dust settled, she looked up to see a strange blue glowing portal. Being the adventurer that she was, and as the two of them were bored, a quick look between the two of them, and they both stepped towards it, stepping into the blue apparition, their bodies being twisted and pulled uncomfortably until they were spat out on the other end in an unfamiliar world that had dark black/grey stone on the ground and stones and water around. It was similar to a sparring zone and she had no idea where she was. "Keep behind me." She muttered to Eev who just nodded in response and the two made their way to the sparring zone. While Taeryn stepped down and into it, Eev kept on the second to bottom step, just out of the way. No one was there that she saw, as of yet, but there was a reason she was there. Why? She didn't know. But she had a feeling she'd find out soon.<
Cranezy: Long silvery locks were bundled upon the male's head in a messy knot, even so, the amount of hair caused it to have a pony tail down to the nap of his neck. It swished faintly in the breeze along with each stray hair poking in random directions flickered in and out of the sun's light made him seem ethereal. Gahiji was crouched over intently staring at a series of hieroglyphics near the entrance of a deserted tomb; picked clean by grave robbers long dead. Now the only thing of value was knowledge. And as it would he had some interesting luck. A massive sandstorm came roaring over the horizon without the smallest amount of warning. Quickly the male tucked a white scarf that had been around his neck over his mouth and nose then placed on a mask - over a pair of of rectangular spectacles - that had been nestled by his black sipper adorned feet. The mask was too black in color resembling a jackal hound painted with likeness markings of Anubis. ( One decent enough with history could tell that it was another deity. ) And he stood as the storm swept across the tomb like a raging tidal wave. The winds had made it hard to hear, the sound like popping from an energy blast, and he didn't notice he'd been pushed into a portal until the wind suddenly stopped. A large portion of hot sand had been pushed through with himself. A hand quickly went to the slipknot holding a six foot stave upon his back, the simple string being pulled to loose the weapon from its bond. It was a weapon of choice to him. Pigua's Feng Mo Gun, which is a style of wushu ( Chinese martial arts ) that features explosive long-range power, being his favorite style whilst stave fighting also because of its aggressive sweeping and striking attacks, even so, Gahiji can use other improvised styles. In stave users it is common to be skilled in hand-to-hand arts should one lose their weapon; with Gahiji he is majorly an improvisation user with mixed arts. Those especially of which support the ideals of disarmament, deflection defensive, and aggressive attacking. Deep blue eyes could see outwards from that mask, but none inwards, and he was scanning the land before himself. Gahiji knew of portals yet often did not find himself being flung through one. Then those eyes trained upon the woman; his body turning to fully face her - the male ending up about twenty feet away with more distance to a second smaller girl. The surrounding area itself did not seem threatening nor beholden a sense of dread; he knew not from a sixth sense but because the male had slipped unconsciously into hunt magic. Heightening his normal senses far beyond a human's capacity. Hunt magic: Classified in its own specific category, Hunt Magic is used majorly for scouting, pursuits, and to slay obstacles one might face. It is commonly used by followers of predatory and or animalistic deities with each deity strongly influencing outcomes of the casting. In the case of Gahiji he is a follower of Wepwawet; the Egyptian deity for scouting and opening the way in war. Thus meaning his casting revolves around enhancing his physical capacity and sensory input. The side effects of Gahiji's hunt magic is the urge to cannibalize, especially if he is already injured, whilst physical transformations to and fro come with the price of minor to moderate pains. The final cost of Gahiji's Hunt Magic is the forfeit of a human afterlife. The male would move forward several paces then slide his left foot backwards two inches giving a gap to create balance in his stance. His left hand would be placed near the middle of the staff with a grip that made it easy to slide if needed or tighten; the weapon becoming parallel with the ground, it would run the length of his arm to behind his back. It was a defensive set-up that allowed him to adjust into countering faster, but lessened the ability to quickly change into attacking. The male had thought the woman to be the one to pull him into this place resembling an arena and merely he was readying for an attack from her first before trying to talk it over and see if it was just a misconception.
