Sunken Valley
It’s a type of valley between mountains which rise to the sky surrounding the entire zone, save for a break in the peaks to get an entrance into the closed off area for those who didn’t wish to cross the treacherous mountains. If one were to be on the mountains, they were quite rocky and were prone to landslides. The peaks were capped with snow and were easily into the negative numbers for temperature wise. Rolling across the tops of the peaks usually was a fog which, because of the rain, slowly started to become thicker and, in the course of about 30 minutes cause the visibility to drop to about 500 yards. The shrubbery dotted the dipped area, lush grass coating the ground with patches of gravel, but that mostly was around the edges where the slopes of the mountains reached the flat ground. The ground in the canyon type zone was pretty much flat and spanned about 1-1.5 miles wide, dotted with animals here and there because the grass was so lush. Most animals, which mostly consisted of deer, were sleeping and dotting this zone. The sun would be rising in about 5 or so hours. As time progressed the rain would slowly get stronger and streaks of lightening would slice the sky in two with cracks of thunder echoing around the canyon, 5 times louder than regular thunder. This location is about 5 miles away from the main Guild hall.
